Competition Briefing: Sat 3 May 8:45am at the Fishing Pontoon<br>Start Time: Sat 3 May 9:00am<br>Finish Time: Sun 4 May 3:00pm<br>All photos uploaded by: Sun 4 May 3:30pm<br>Winners announced: Sun 4 May 5:00pm at The Lake<br><br>Age categories: Under 10's, 11-17 and adults<br><br>Prize categories: <br>2 Longest: <br>Barramundi<br>Sleepy Cod<br>Silver Perch<br>Sooty Grunter<br><br>Overall winner for: <br>Most Fish<br>Smallest Fish<br>Longest Fish<br>Rubbish Prize – please upload photos of the rubbish you collect to the app, with the code<br><br><br><br>Hughenden Festival of Outback Skies Fishing Competition Rules<br><br>Entrants must have purchased an entry ticket through Two Bent Rods app<br>Entry to the comp is via the Two Bent Rods app.<br>Fish anywhere around the Hughenden Recreational Lake in legally accessible areas.<br>Can be shorebased, use kayak, rafts and watercraft<br>Individuals are fishing under personal Qld Fisheries recreational fishing rules and regulations.<br>You must adhere to Qld Fisheries and Biosecurity Qld rules<br>Catch and release – all fish caught are to be released back into the lake<br>Fish must ONLY be caught on a fishing line.<br>1 fishing rod in the water per person<br>Fish caught in any type of net are NOT eligible to be entered.<br>Fish caught on bait jigs are NOT eligible to be entered.<br>Fish MUST be uploaded as per instructions:<br>Put fish and CODE on measuring device. Code is given at the start of the comp<br>Take a photo of the fish on a measuring device and save to your phone.<br>Brag mat, ruler etc - measurements must be clearly visible. We must be able to<br>verify the length.<br>Put nose of fish on 0 -zero<br>Fish should be right side up - fins towards the top<br>Spread tail<br>Measure to tip of tail<br>Measure in mm<br>Take photo<br>Please make sure photo is taken closer to fish so we can read the measurement<br>Save photos to your phone, then upload to app when possible.
